FOLLOW-UP, ADAPTATION, AND FAMILY SUPPORT

The follow-up visit protocol has been established with two main and well-defined objectives, focusing on providing comprehensive care to children with hearing difficulties and ensuring that they receive the appropriate attention and support at all times.

The first objective of the protocol is to conduct a thorough follow-up of the child’s hearing. To achieve this, regular visits are made to assess the effectiveness and functioning of the hearing aids or any other hearing solution used by the child. During these visits, meticulous adjustment and maintenance of the devices are carried out, ensuring that they are optimized to provide the best possible performance. In addition, a wide range of accessories and technical support is provided to ensure that the child’s hearing experience is the best possible.

The second objective of the protocol is to establish and maintain a close bond with the child and their family. Understanding that facing hearing challenges can be overwhelming for the family, the care team ensures they are present throughout the process. A warm and empathetic approach is provided, offering emotional and psychological support that alleviates any concerns or doubts they may have. Constant and open communication with the family is essential to provide personalized service tailored to the child’s needs.

In addition to providing hearing assistance, the team strives to empower the family with information and education related to hearing, enabling them to be active participants in the care process. Each child is considered an absolute priority, and the primary focus is to ensure they receive the necessary care to reach their full potential.

In summary, the follow-up visit protocol focuses on excellence in hearing care and the overall well-being of the child and their family. Through a combination of technical follow-up and emotional support, the team ensures that every child has all the tools to enjoy optimal hearing and a fulfilling and satisfying life.
