With over 20 years of experience as an audiologist and speech therapist, I have had the privilege of working in the field of hearing health and language development. Over these two decades, I have had the opportunity to help people improve their communication and quality of life. I have been immersed in the world of hearing since the day I was born, under the guidance of Dr. Pere Lluís Salvà Plana. Ear care has been present in our family since 1920 with the first Salvà Otology Clinic of Dr. Pedro Salvà Salvà, continued by Dr. Joaquim Salvà Ruyra and finally Dr. Pere Lluís Salvà Plana. They were otorhinolaryngologists, but above all, individuals who loved this profession. It is an honor and a personal as well as professional achievement to continue this legacy by providing essential quality care and attention.

My dedication to this profession has been driven by my passion for helping people overcome challenges related to hearing and speech. Over the years, I have worked with patients of all ages, from babies and children to young adults and older individuals experiencing age-related hearing loss or other conditions. Our mission is to help and support people at any stage of their lives, taking on our commitment and responsibility for their hearing health.

In my career as an audiologist, I have conducted comprehensive hearing tests to assess hearing loss in patients of all ages. These tests allow us to determine the degree and type of hearing loss, which, in turn, helps me recommend the most suitable treatment. Whether it’s hearing aid fitting, auditory rehabilitation therapy, or referral to an otorhinolaryngologist for further treatment, my goal is to find the solution that best suits each patient’s individual needs.

As a speech therapist, I have worked with individuals who have difficulties in speech, language, and communication. I have used a variety of techniques and therapeutic approaches to help my patients improve their pronunciation, fluency, and language comprehension. I have also collaborated closely with other healthcare professionals, including otorhinolaryngologists, pediatricians, psychologists, neurologists, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive and multidisciplinary care to my patients.

Throughout my career, I have witnessed how the field of audiology and speech therapy has evolved and incorporated cutting-edge technological advances. I am constantly updating my knowledge and skills through training and courses to ensure that I provide my patients with the best practices and most effective treatments.

My ultimate goal as an audiologist and speech therapist is to improve people’s quality of life, enabling them to communicate effectively and fully enjoy their auditory environment. I am honored to have had the opportunity to help and learn from so many individuals over the years, and I look forward to continuing my work in this rewarding field for many more years to come.

With over 30 years of experience as an audiologist and educator in the field of audiology, as well as a specialist in audiology at all stages of a person’s life, I have had the privilege of working with a wide variety of patients and contributing to the improvement of their hearing health. Over these three decades, I have witnessed firsthand how technological advancements and scientific research have revolutionized how we approach the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of auditory disorders.

My passion for audiology has led me to work with people and their entire environment, including family and friends, seeing the person in their family, work, and leisure settings. I am passionate about working with children and their families to provide them with a healthy auditory environment and ensure optimal language and communication development, which is incredibly rewarding. Over the years, I have developed specialized approaches and innovative techniques to assess and correct hearing loss, tailoring each intervention to their individual needs.

As an educator, I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with emerging professionals in the field of audiology. I am passionate about passing on my love for this discipline and helping nurture a new generation of highly competent and dedicated audiologists. I firmly believe in the importance of continuous education and strive to stay updated with the latest advances and trends in my field to provide quality training to my students.

Throughout my career, I have witnessed the profound positive changes that hearing can bring to people’s lives. From helping a child hear the sounds of the world for the first time to providing personalized audiological solutions that enhance the quality of life for adults and seniors, each small breakthrough is a constant reminder of the value and importance of my work.

As an audiologist and educator, I aspire to remain an advocate for hearing health and contribute to the research and development of new therapies and technologies. My ultimate goal is to improve the lives of people with hearing disorders and raise awareness about the importance of caring for and protecting our hearing throughout life.
