Validation consists, in broad terms, of 3 phases:

1) In-situ measurement validation. We will measure how sound reaches your ear in real life using a probe. This is a non-invasive test that allows us to objectively see what information the hearing aid provides and, at the same time, take into account the morphological characteristics of each ear and how they influence the result. This way, we can readjust your hearing aids in a completely personalized manner, taking into account the entire set of tests and your assessment of the auditory sensation you get, such as the sensation of your own voice, soft, medium, and loud sounds, as well as extremely loud sounds.

2) Validation through free-field testing: using calibrated speakers at the appropriate distance, we can perform an audiometry with your hearing aids, both in terms of sound and the compression capacity with them. We will conduct this test in both quiet and noisy situations to see how well you understand in them. We will adjust your hearing aids based on the different everyday situations, the tests performed, the information obtained in the interview, and taking into account your needs and expectations.

3) Sound Environments are specially designed spaces with speakers placed in a 360-degree arrangement and a screen to simulate a variety of everyday and personalized situations. This environment allows us to accurately recreate different scenarios so you can experience how you hear in each of them. This way, we can precisely and exclusively adjust your hearing device to meet your individual needs.

During the session in the Sound Environments, you will be able to perceive how it sounds in specific situations and provide real-time feedback. This will help us make a personalized adjustment that is perfectly tailored to your auditory preferences and specific needs. Our goal is to provide you with the best auditory experience possible, ensuring that your hearing solution is optimized for every situation you may encounter in your daily life.

In summary, the validation of your hearing solution’s adjustment includes practical tests in Sound Environments, where you can experience and assess how your hearing device sounds in different situations. We will use your feedback to further personalize your adjustment and ensure that you get the maximum benefit and satisfaction from your hearing solution.
